Park City Community Foundation Makes End of Year Giving Easier with Giving Guide

The Giving Guide is made possible by the support of the Park City Board of Realtors and by Tom Raffa.

Park City, Utah –. Park City Community Foundation is proud to announce the release of the Park City Giving Guide, a publication geared towards connecting residents with nonprofits in the greater Park City area. The Giving Guide gives donors an easy, accessible vehicle to donate to important causes in the community. Park City Community Foundation is committed to creating an enduring philanthropic community to benefit all the people of Park City.

“At Park City Community Foundation, we know that people who love Park City want to support Park City. The goal of the inaugural Giving Guide is to connect people to causes, and make giving back easy and effective.   Every organization featured in the guide was chosen because of the positive impact they have in Park City and the solid governance and financial sustainability they demonstrate. Donors can trust that their gifts have impact,” says Katie Wright, Executive Director of Park City Community Foundation.

Park City Giving Guide wouldn’t be possible without the continued support from Park City Board of Realtors and Tom & Kathy Raffa, and their company Raffa P.C.

The project is modeled after a program called The Catalogue for Philanthropy that raises approximately $5 million annually for hundreds of organizations serving greater Washington D.C. It was brought to Park City by Tom Raffa, a part time resident in Park City whose company launched the Catalogue for Philanthropy over 12 years ago.

“The Park City Board of Realtors is honored to be in partnership with The Park City Community in the continued cultivation of this important community giving projcect,” says Sara Werbelow, Park City Board of Realtors President. “A key component of our core values, is investment in our community. We are dedicated to supporting the many worthy non-profits that serve both Summit and Wasatch counties.”

The vision for the Giving Guide is to provide people with expert advice on where the donations will have maximum impact.  It features 45 nonprofits that serve the greater Park City area. You can give to the nonprofits by visiting the new, robust online version at

Park City Community Foundation exists to bring donors, volunteers, nonprofits, and all the people of our community together to make Park City a better place.
