Born in the Ogden Valley, Melissa is a native Utahn, and happily put down roots in Park City in 1994, knowing she had found her true home in this diverse mountain town. She spent several years living in Alaska and traveling around the world with just a backpack before jumping into Park City life with both feet. Starting her career in property management, she eventually found a home (and a talent) in real estate, obtaining her license in 1999, and becoming an Associate Broker in 2004.
Melissa is heavily involved in Park City civic issues. Not only is she a sitting Planning Commissioner for the City, but she is also the Peace Chair of the Park City Rotary Club, Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Park City Board of Realtors, on the Board of Trustees for the Park City Institute, Vice President of the Park City Leadership Alumni, and is a member of the Communities the Care Coalition. Melissa has been involved with many other nonprofits, including the People’s Health Clinic, and the Leadership for Life Park City Chapter.
